A Complete Guide To Making And Saving Money With Lyft
Remember when our options were limited to driving, mass transit or taking a taxi? The good news is that is no longer the case. I will be honest in saying I will go out of my way to avoid taking a taxi, HATE IT. I found the cost to be ridiculous, the cars disgusting and the drivers often not pleasant. Now, however, there are other options thanks to car services such as Uber, Lyft, and Zip cars to name but a few.
It is so convenient because even if you drive there are times it just isn’t feasible. Maybe you’re on vacation or had a few too many. Whatever the reason, a ride is just a click away. Read on to find out why I love Lyft and how it can make and save you money!
Why Lyft? Here’s My Experience
I have used both Uber and Lyft because I don’t drive and believe me the world is a safer place for it. I had good experiences with both I won’t lie but I did find the cars to be nicer with Lyft than Uber and the prices better. Given the recent controversy and the actions of Uber that really left me feeling some kind of way, it only cemented my choice.
I have taken a total of 4 rides with Lyft and each time I only waited a total of 5 minutes for the car to come and the cars are newish and clean. As a matter of fact, my first ride was in a Dodge Charger (beautiful car). The drivers each time were pleasant, professional and didn’t drive like they had a death wish. If you’ve ever taken a taxi in the city you know what I’m saying.
